Winterset in Summer Literary Festival is happening in Eastport, NL, this August 12-14. They have a fantastic weekend of events lined up. One of which is happening on Saturday, August 13, Mystery Voices - Panel on Detective Story Writing, hosted by Linden MacIntyre, award-winning CBC broadcaster, journalist, writer, and featuring three powerhouses of crime fiction writing.
 
Helen C. Escott, bestselling crime writing author and international woman of mystery. Among other works, her crime thriller Operation Vanished was awarded a Silver Medal for Best Regional Fiction at the 24th annual Independent Publisher Book Awards.
 
Peter Robinson one of the world’s most popular crime-fiction writers, comes to Newfoundland for the first time to share his insight and writing process.
 
Michael Martin, known for writing the Sgt. Windflower Mystery series of books, set in Newfoundland. He is also the author of Darkest Before the Dawn, which won the Bony Blithe Award for Best Light Mystery in 2019.
